Its not more work. It takes no more to mow 3" grass as it does 4" unless you never sharpen your blade. I pay to keep my yard nice all Summer long not just when it hasn't rained for a week. If you want paid, do the work. If my lawn looks like shit half of the Summer that's bullshit and not what I'm paying for. So not only did my lawn look like shit half the time I paid extra when they did mow.

This guy here is walking us through how he does an estimate to mow and weed eat this yard. Pretty straight forward. He is quoting this house at $75 a week to do the yard, so $300 a month, once a week. But, he says if it rains, even if it rains for weeks and they can’t mow, they are getting paid their $75 and if the customer doesn’t like it, they don’t need that customer. Is that the standard in the industry if you are on a weekly schedule with a lawn care company? Are you paying $75 even if they don’t do your yard?

More waste… I’m not sure who told Donald Trump painting the Reflecting Pool was a good idea, because it will need to be recoated every few years. As a pool owner, I can tell you paint doesn’t last like hard surfaces. The existing granite lasted a lifetime and should have just been repaired as needed, not coated over.
