I grow my own sponges every year. This is Luffa acutangula, or the luffa gourd. It's actually related to cucumbers as it's in the Curbubitaceae family... To get a sponge, you have to grow them out to full maturity, waiting for the exterior to look mottled yellowish brown. Then, you can peel off the skin to reveal the dried plant fiber within... Cut 1-2" chunks of the fiber out and you have an instant shower sponge, I've even seen people make soap and embed a slice in the soap for built-in exfoliation The seeds can be saved to grow more luffa next year, and you can even eat this gourd when young and tender. In Filipino culture, it's called patola and is worked into many classic dishes

The arc on Chet's jumper really stands out this postseason. Doesn't feel like a shot he'd take or make throughout the majority of his career but has zero issues here. 48% from 3 thus far in the playoffs. Averaging 19-9-2-2-2 on 70% TS. Phenomenal player.
