@buckylaflare Numbers are misleading. He’s being hid on defense, so most times he’s guarding the weakest link in the lineup…much like the Warriors did with Steph during their run.

Because he’s 10.5 games behind the MVP frontrunner, doesn’t play the level of defense as the MVP frontrunner, and isn’t as clutch as the MVP frontrunner this season.

@SuaveCEO_ Honestly think he may never win because of the timeline of other younger superstars. Probably will be the DWade of this era where he plays at an MVP level but never wins one.

For the record, Luka is a generational offensive talent, and I don’t want to take anything away from that. He should win an MVP at some point. I just don’t think this is the year, even with how impressive he’s been.

That’s a team record, not Luka vs. Shai. Also, OKC’s average margin of victory is 11 points compared to the Lakers’ 1.4. The Lakers play way more close games. And somehow, Shai still has more clutch points (156) than Luka (52) and is the favorite for Clutch Player of the Year, while missing a TON of fourth quarters this season. Here are the odds, btw:

@SuaveCEO_ Using defense as a negative for luka is a lazy take nowadays lets be honest.

That’s the popular critique but they have Harrison Barnes who has a title and is an impact player for them, and De’Aaron Fox, who led a team in a seven-game playoff series. Both of those guys are seasoned veterans who can share some of that “experience” like Caruso did for OKC last season.

@SuaveCEO_ Spurs will lose to either Nuggets, Minnesota, or Lakers (depending on who’s on their side of the bracket). I don’t think they’ll make it to WCF bc of lack of experience.

One of the best places to watch a Thunder game, especially if you want a chill, peaceful environment like me, but a change of scenery from your living room, is ZamZam, off NW 39th Expressway and MacArthur. 7 TVs, GREAT Mediterranean food, and hookah.

The NCAA loves putting HBCUs in the First Four game, which needs to be addressed, but shoutout to Howard and Prairie View A&M for pushing through and getting the win.
