Update… I managed to squeeze the investor out of the fight yesterday. It was only serious buyers and over leveraged first home buyers in the end but.. Most were borrowing 95%. What will happen to these people after a few rate rises? #realestate

I often see U.S data on the native born labour force and jobs growth, so I am currently putting together an Australian version. Jobs growth since Covid: 1.80m Additional jobs for people born in Australia: 729.3k So ~40% of job creation since 2019 is for Aussie born folks.

Every piece of land on Earth has been 'stolen' at some point - conquered, displaced, or fought over. No exceptions: Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia. Borders and laws exist to create order & prevent chaos, not because any nation is 'pure. "If" no one is illegal on stolen land means no borders/enforcement, try living it in a place with weak rule of law. Reality check: most such spots bring instability & violence, not safety.
