@FarhadAhmad30 Exactly the same really. No iCloud account needed and 2FA you can get on your main phone or on the same phone

@DomHere_ Great content. Dom, what steps would you suggest for creating multiple accounts on Android phones? The steps you mentioned are for iPhones.

How I set up US TikTok accounts(+ warmup) for iPhone:
1. Create US iCloud(sms verification for 0.50$: textverified.com) Region: US. Timezone: New York.
2. Create Gmail account(I create on an Android phone, no SMS verification needed, saved 0.50$)

@null_deref I feel like knowing this helps a lot to move away from developer mindset

Finally. Reason #1 why developers are not good entrepreneurs. (and how to fix that)
I've been a developer for 17 years now.
I started doing marketing and then it hit me: developers are dopamine addicts.
Change font, change color, add button = instant dopamine hit.
But when doing marketing there are no such things like instant dopamine hits... that's why developers end up creating more features, fixing bugs no one cares about or just updating design without actually getting more users.
I started making mobile apps 4 months ago, I've been in the same loop.
How I am fixing it and breaking the "Dev Dopamine Loop".
I'll call it: "Dev Dopamine Detox"
It's a cure for fake progress:
- No new features
- No UI tweaks
- No polishing
Just:
- Marketing like an animal
- Talking to users
- A/B testing paywalls
- Tracking user journey, seeing where users drop-off
- Improving main feature of app that solves a problem
Outcome > output.
Why vibe coders can make something better than you in a day? They focus out outcome, they want to build something and see it working NOW
You want to add new features, polish and get more dopamine hits. Vibe coders just want outcomes ASAP, users/money/freedom.
Outcome > output!!!!!

@null_deref Have not tried Compose Multiplatform. I'm happy with React Native + Expo 100% for now

True and their rating is on point from reviews, last app update Jul 3, 2025
Most reviews are like:
- The goal date it is showing on home is in past
- couldn't even open
- doesn't work for me. has my quit date in the past. half the buttons do nothing, and I can't get the filter to do anything
- promised much, but turned out to be a buggy mess. The ai doesn't work, there are no activities and nothing updates.
- This is a waste of money, I can see that they are trying to help people but this doesn't even seem completely finished, and needs to be fixed and have a lot of features first before putting a price on it
And this is just for September, seems like tried to make a clone quickly but understood that it's not that simple with the amount of features they added to the iOS app
English

It's how Google play counts ratings + reviews. On the app store it's simply summarized, but on gp reviews has more weight.

I build apps with React Native. It only takes like 10% more time for both platforms. Because WHEN it goes successful, I don't want this ratio of iOS vs Android:

Wife tried to stop me waking up at 4:00 AM on Saturday.
Why? Because she loves me.
Why I still woke up?
Standard full-time job hours: 160 per month
My hours: 292 per month
2,080 vs 3,504 hours a year.
That's over 4 extra months of work.
Discipline > Motivation.
You don't need more time. You need to wake up!!!

@alexcooldev @linhbuilds This works great, need help setting it up?

If you’ve updated your device to iOS 26 recently, is the App Store app “In-App Ratings & Reviews” setting enabled or disabled if you had it enabled before?
I don’t think Apple would make such a drastic change but who knows 👀
Dom@DomHere_
End of 5 star reviews from onboarding? Off by default on iOS 26 🤯🤯🤯
English

@nomadschurch @DomHere_ The option was also available in previous versions fyi.
English

@DomHere_ If someone pops up review shit in onboarding its an immediate 1 star from me.
I hardly opened the app now I need to rate it...
English

@nomadschurch yeah exactly. the option is like "I am sick of developers asking for reviews in-app"
English

@ingoa_dev that setting off = less reviews. most reviews come from asking review on onboarding when the user is most excited. but it has been confirmed by other people that it's still on by default, must have been a bug while testing many betas that got it disabled for me
English

@juanjovn @lililililili96 @DomHere_ Yep! Don't know when was it introduced but I've had iOS 26 since beta 1 and always on by default
