Interesting how most big YouTubers with millions of subscribers have "just" tens of thousands of followers on X And vice versa, many of the biggest people on X are non existent on YouTube It makes me think maybe being great at writing relatively short tweets stops you from developing the ability to speak in long form like YouTubers do Most tweets are a few paragraphs while most YouTube videos are 10+ minutes

@jungkeunhong If you pitch a dev tool to a dev, I bet they will ask about your tech stack. Most people try to box you into areas they know best, great to see you have learned and thrive from that brother

“You’ve never sold something. wtf are you selling?” This question destroyed my confidence. Last month, I went to Pylon's event to talk to sales experts and eagerly pitched. Me: "We're building an AI teammate that rescues stalled deals..." 👨: "Good idea. Why did you pick this?" Me: "I did 150 interviews, everyone said it's a big problem!" 👨: "Do you have sales experience?" Me: "No, but I worked with sales teams!" 👨: "Dude, I'm not asking about your research. I'm checking how you sell. Selling sales tools to sales people? Super hard. They're experts. They have frameworks, processes, tactics. They expect you to REALLY understand sales. If I were you, I'd say: 'I picked this because I lived this pain.' Show me that you understand our life." I couldn't say anything. - Do I know sales? - Do I understand their daily reality? So...I decided to become a sales rep myself. → Studied methodologies: MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, SPIN, BANT → Used Rox, Clay, Sybill, Outreach, HubSpot daily (and studied 20+ sales tools) → Learned their workflows firsthand ... and applied all of them in Plato’s sales My eyes opened. I finally understood their REAL pain points - not what they say in interviews, but what they actually think when deals stall: "Shit, my quota is screwed.” Now I'm not selling to sales people. I'm talking to fellow reps who get it. 10x more confident. The lesson: You can't sell solutions to problems you've never lived. To founders building for industries you don't know: Go live in their world for 30 days. Follow their workflow 100%. Use their tools. Feel their pain. What would you recommend to understand your customers better?

Funny everyone hates Adobe so much We all cheering on and want it to go to $0 Talk about burning down one of the most respected brands in computing in just 10 years for short term profits
Zephyr@zephyr_z9

> be Adobe, 40-year-old PDF jockey > 2025, stock doing a perfect -33% swan dive > “We’ll pivot to AI” says exec on 7-figure retention bonus > can’t ship a model because legal says every pixel needs a 12-page EULA > Midjourney drops v7, makes our Firefly look like MS Paint with a hangover > OpenAI drops GPT-Image, Google drops nano-banana, both free > our response: “Please login with your Adobe ID, install Creative Cloud, update 47 GB, restart, then pay $53.99/month” > users collectively Alt-F4 into orbit > watch in horror as ChatGPT/Gemini reads any PDF you give it for free > enterprise cancels 10k seats overnight > try to counter with Sora killer video model > training cluster catches fire after someone uploads a 1998 clipart library > PR tweet: “We are re-imagining creativity” > quote-tweet ratio hits 1:9k, gif of dumpster bonfire tops replies > premiere pro is now just a bloated launcher for 15 different subscription prompts > 20-something with a phone and CapCut is making better edits > our flagship feature: “Generative fill but now 3% slower” > board meeting: “Let’s raise prices again” > stock drops another 8% during the Zoom call > our most innovative feature in 5 years is a "subscribe to annual plan" button that clicks itself

😴 The hardest bug to fix isn’t in code bt it is in your sleep schedule. Once it gets disturbed, it feels like a domino effect: - One late night becomes two. - Two nights become a week. Suddenly your focus, energy, and mood are all out of sync. We talk a lot about productivity hacks, morning routines, and hustle. But none of that works if your foundation i.e. sleep is broken. Fixing it requires more discipline than most tasks: - Saying no to “just one more scroll” - Sleeping and waking at the same time daily - Creating boundaries with work and screens It looks Simple on paper bt Brutal in practice. I have been sleeping at 4 AM for the past month no matter what I try, I just can’t fall asleep before then. The hardest task once disturbed is fixing a sleep schedule for me ✨ If there’s one lesson I’ve learned: protect your sleep like you protect your goals. Because without it, every other goal becomes harder.

@SherryYanJiang So many decisions need to be right for an app to be simple, else it's just a control center where you offload all the design decisions to the user

the irony: the simpler an app feels, the harder it is to build. if it feels like it reads your mind, that just means the founder already did 10x the grinding behind the scenes.
