@Dom_Egg 1 reply and it's some crypto bot, makes your point really. Hanging out anywhere else?

@555Husker @CdffCycleCity @cardiffcouncil Oh. Disappointing. It's amazing that the sewage pumping station was rushed through so quickly, while procrastination followed by poor decision making is what sustainable travel infrastructure gets. High level policies don't seem to lead to tangible positive action quickly.

@CdffCycleCity @Dom_Egg @cardiffcouncil The proposal is a disaster, worse than status quo. Bits of unjoined cycle path that reconverge with the existing mixed use path.
Section of proposed cycle path to replace a pavement rejected literally because residents need to park their cars on it. 🤦♂️

This is a frequent problem in a number of parks across Cardiff - we are never going to encourage people out of their cars and onto bicycles / walking if this is the infrastructure we expect them to use @cardiffcouncil

Contractors fixing short sections of the Taff Trail in Hailey park have excelled themselves in ruining the track. Mud spilled across the whole length. I hope this will be sorted immediately, @cardiffcouncil

Ok who has started putting dry lube on their chain after yesterday’s great weather and has now made it rain!!! @Absolutemtb1 @Dom_Egg @WalesRaven

The state of the Taff Trail through Hailey park in Cardiff after @cardiffcouncil bin collections. Every. Single. Time. Poor trail design ruined further by poor upkeep. Why are the basics of providing sustainable infrastructure so hard!? Useless. @CardiffCommuter @CdffCycleCity

@DesignSecultd @CyclistsvCancer @KoalaaCommunity @TrekBikes @MarcLloyd82 @Hopetech It's great to see other companies doing good things in the field of adaptive💪

@CyclistsvCancer @KoalaaCommunity @TrekBikes @Dom_Egg @MarcLloyd82 @Hopetech Thank you, I am just the crash test dummy. The real genius are the teams that designed the rig. 👍👍

Absolutely fantastic to see 12 year old Rian being able to cycle again with his new adapted CFC bike and a @KoalaaCommunity handlebar attachment.
Rian was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in 2023 after swelling developed in his left hand. He had a partial amputation of the hand, but pathology confirmed there were still cancer cells remaining so a second surgery consisting of a left mid forearm amputation was required. Before his amputation Rian was competent at riding a bike and was looking forward to being able to cycle again. Our workshop team adapted the bike so that the rear brake and gears could be used by his right arm and his left arm using a ‘Koalaa’ prosthetic sleeve and grip tool. Mum says;
“Yesterday was a huge step for him to be able to go on his bike – so once again a huge thank you!” ❤️
Awesome pedalling Rian, what a superstar you are 🌟🌟

Can anyone recommend a wheelchair robust enough for exercising on rough roads? My @Kuschall aluminium chair has gone through three lots of castors, a completely snapped frame, a badly damaged wheel , ripped tyres as well as personal injuries, just since November! Please RT

@Dom_Egg I haven't been outside for a proper ride in ages

@TinpotJ It's a cool field. There are a few courses in the UK. One in Southampton, another in Salford and one in Southampton. My degree was in product design, but now applied to custom medical devices and adaptive cycling. It's certainly a cool and rewarding area.

Given my experience in mold making. Casting and retro fitting stuff.
Plus the desire to make weird and wonderful stuff. I'd love a job in prosthesis or adaptability like this.
Would so rewarding
