@DonnaDa08496172 @Skipper5436 @mario4thenorth No. Kinder Morgan sold the pipeline because they were shutting down the Extension project and all other non essential spending on the whole line. The federal government under pressure from Alberta bought the ENTIRE pipeline for 4.5 billion

🚨 BREAKING 14 Liberal MPs just signed an open letter against Carney’s pipeline deal with Alberta. The cowards signed it. CBC has it. But they don’t want to be named. 😂 This was done just 24 hours after Alberta put separation on the October ballot. The Prime Minister can’t even hold his own caucus together. The Liberal Party’s response to a province voting on separation is to fight their own Prime Minister. The country is splitting from the West. The Liberals are splitting from the leader. And the Prime Minister is in the middle, trying to negotiate with both sides while losing both at the same time. What a disaster.

@uniqueusernanme @Pack_Rat_EWaste @ManaByte And yes people legally have a leg to stand on. The ONLY thing Riot legally have a right to enforce, is access to their games or games using their anticheat. Not access to your PC regardless of reason.

@uniqueusernanme @Pack_Rat_EWaste @ManaByte Most cheating is done via software not hardware. If your PC is no longer accessible you cannot delete said software. Meaning the only way to do so is formatting windows, meaning all your files are going bye bye. So yes. Files are getting nuked

Let’s walk through how that courtroom drama plays out: Cheater: "Your Honor, Riot bricked my $6,000 PC!" Riot: "Actually, we just updated Vanguard to enforce standard Windows IOMMU security protocols. If they unplug the illegal hardware cheat device from their motherboard, the PC boots perfectly fine." Judge: "Wait, so your computer works, but your specialized cheating hardware doesn't?" Cheater: "Yes! It’s property damage!" Judge: [Bangs gavel so hard it breaks] "Case dismissed. Pay Riot's legal fees." You cannot sue a company because their security system successfully detected your exploit. Riot didn't destroy anything; they just rendered a cheating device useless for cheating. If you spent thousands of dollars on a DMA card just to click on heads in Valorant, your only legal recourse is to sue your parents for giving birth to someone so stupid.

@claytoncarruthe @slashinvestor @thescottbarber @Bratt_world It was only reversed again to bring in Alberta oil 4 months before Harper lost the election in 2015, by some on both sides seen as a stunt for support as he could have done that any time in his term having positioned himself as a pro west PM.

Alberta separatists trying to become a landlocked independent state surrounded by Canadians who would have zero sympathy for them and an American state that would want to beat them into submission as a client-state is one of the funniest bad ideas in all of recorded history.

@claytoncarruthe @slashinvestor @thescottbarber @Bratt_world So if there is an existing pipeline and on many days it is estimated to only be at 2/3rds capacity. Where's the demand for the oil? One of the refineries is near Quebec City the other near Montreal. The line could easily be filled and put on a ship at either dock. But it isnt

@claytoncarruthe @slashinvestor @thescottbarber @Bratt_world Line 9, the one you are likely referencing, BEGAN construction, under Pierre Trudeau. So Alberta already has a pipeline all the way to Quebec that feeds two refineries there. It is not apportioned. Meaning it is not even at full capacity.

@Skipper5436 @mario4thenorth Yet he is the only one in like 2 decades that has ACTUALLY done anything like this that could be seen as working with an opposition party. And generally the opposing ideology fed/prov govs have clashed even more than the fed and opposition on a lot of issues

@claytoncarruthe @thescottbarber @Bratt_world No they wouldn't. You have a pipeline already that gets oil to export. You dont just get to build them where ever you want. It would if no pipeline existed, mean they have to provide the shortest viable route. It does not mean a pipeline through Quebec could be forced

There’s an international law , which Canada signed , that prevents “ land locked nations “ from being blocked from selling or moving products or commodities. Since the world wants our oil and gas Quebec could no longer block us from building pipelines to Saskatchewan , Manitoba , Ontario or the maritimes. They’d have to let it be built.

@zepar202 @MonikaCinnyRoll Game, is because that point in the EULA is the one that allows them to ban players. Almost every game's EULA says you can't record content for profit. It doesn't get enforced. But they use it when something damaging to the brand occurs or infringes copyright like with leaks

@zepar202 @MonikaCinnyRoll Literally every single thing in that EULA is industry standard. All of it. It's the same in any Rockstar EULA, any Activision Blizzard EULA, any Valve EULA. Not every point is enforced non stop. Many of them are there for a reason. Like the point about being able to take away the

@Dirty_Soks_OF @MarcNixon24 That 30 million was contingent on reviews also showing the continued safety of the airframes until 2030. But they've found new issues that weren't there in 2021. Pretty easy to understand. And with the PC-21 set to replace them there are still over 90 ordered ahead of us

@PatriotPredNC @trainofangels00 The British Empire. Even with America aside. The Soviets would never have invaded Canada, they had neither the power projection or logistics for overseas invasion through mountainous terrain. The US needed Canada. For early warning stations, missile detection and intercepts.

Let’s finally put this tired MAGA fantasy to rest: the U.S. has never militarily protected Canada — not once, not ever. Canada has never been invaded by a foreign power in modern history, and we have certainly never asked the U.S. to ride in like some self-appointed saviour. In fact, the only time American troops showed up on our soil in force was during the War of 1812 (Confederation wasn't even born yet) — when they tried to invade and conquer us and got their asses handed to them by a militia, First Nations warriors, and British forces. The colonies defended themselves. And, furthermore to facts, NORAD is a joint defense partnership, NOT American charity. Yet the MAGA base keeps repeating this crap that “if it wasn’t for us, Canada would be gone.” No. We never begged for your protection, we never needed it, and we sure as hell don’t owe you for a fantasy scenario that exists only in your heads. Canada stands on its own. Always has. 🇨🇦 #canpoli
