"Alf, no time for cats. Let’s build a website."
That’s the exact code phrase our team has been using for months while teaching Alf, our AI assistant, how to… build websites.
Now, Alf Website Studio is live.
It can turn an idea into a full website in moments – structure, branding, images, and copy included. Changes can be made in chat or directly in the editor. No coding. No technical setup.
Alf Website Studio is just getting started. We’ll keep building what’s next together, shaped by what you actually want.
Try it free for 30 days. Then it’s just $5/mo.

🚀 Vast Data just raised $1B at a $30B valuation.
The company is building what many call an “AI Operating System” — a unified platform combining storage, database, and compute to power massive AI workloads.
Instead of fragmented data silos, Vast Data’s architecture enables real-time data ingestion and retrieval at AI scale.
As generative AI and agentic systems grow, AI-native infrastructure is becoming one of the most valuable layers of the tech stack.
The AI infrastructure race is heating up.

🚀 AI is changing how software is built.
Replit has raised $400M in a Series D round, reaching a $9B valuation.
Its AI-powered browser IDE enables “vibe-coding” — turning natural language into working applications without local setup or complex configuration.
Build, deploy, and host directly in the browser.
The future of development is becoming faster, simpler, and more accessible.

While watching the Champions League game between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, I noticed the IFS AI logo on the front of Chelsea’s shirt.
That led me to discover Chelsea’s partnership with IFS to bring Industrial AI into club operations, performance analysis, and fan engagement.
A good reminder that AI is quietly becoming part of elite sport — not only in data rooms, but visible right on the pitch.

@BettyAiProject @regaltor That’s funny!
We registered only one “liar” domain: HitLiar•com
English

I heard a phrase today that I had never recalled hearing before.
“Liar for Hire.”
It stopped me in my tracks.
I wrote it down immediately.
When I checked, it wasn’t registered.
Ten bucks later it was mine.
Sometimes a phrase just hits your ear a certain way and you know there’s something there.
Whether people agree with the sentiment or not isn’t really the point. What fascinated me was the language itself. The phrase instantly paints a picture.
A person paid to twist the truth.
That's a business.
Some people would call that satire. Others might call it commentary. And depending on your political leanings you might think it applies to the other side by the dozens.
Experts that testify in trials. They might be the biggest and possibly most profitable liars for hire.
But that’s exactly what makes language powerful.
Sometimes a phrase captures a feeling that’s already floating around in people’s heads.
That’s when it sticks.
For me it was also a reminder of something I’ve experienced in the domain business for nearly 30 years.
Great names are often hiding in plain sight.
You don’t invent them.
You hear them.
And when your instincts tell you something just clicked, sometimes ten dollars is all it takes to capture it.
I have no idea where this one goes yet.
But I know a good phrase when I hear one.
That’s why I grabbed it.
But the story doesn’t end there.
After I registered LiarForHire .com, I decided to check if LiarsForHire .com was available too. I figured it would be smart to have both versions.
It wasn’t available.
So I did what any domain investor might do. I started looking up the owner to make an offer to buy.
But just before I did that I typed the domain into the browser to see what was going on there.
I had even pulled this post down just before because I realized even in this summary I had used the plural.
Well to my surprise I recognized the page instantly when it popped up.
It blew my mind. I laughed hard!
Turns out… it was me! 🤣🤣🤣
Apparently I registered LiarsForHire .com about 25 years ago and completely forgot about it.
So the phrase hit my radar today like it was brand new, and it turns out my instincts had already fired on it a quarter century ago.
After nearly 30 years in the domain business, sometimes you still manage to surprise yourself. This one was a knee slapper!

In an agentic world, every layer of a startup stack needs to be programmable.
Not just the registrar layer, but domain discovery, intelligence, and management.
Payments were first.
Then infrastructure and workflows.
Domains are next.
Atom.com@atomHQ
Domains, now programmable. We are launching Atom Developers, including our full Registrar API. Search. Appraise. List. Register. Renew. Manage DNS. Automate. The entire domain stack, now controllable in code. Built for builders. Ready for agents. atom.com/developer
