@MadhuPaletipati because there are more old and big portfolios that have lower average acceptance rates which make it 5/6% average with new ones, the new ones are few.

Just to clarify for newcomers: if you submit 10 domains and have a 50% acceptance rate, it doesn’t mean you’re ahead of someone with a lower rate. Some investors have submitted thousands of domains. So even with a 7% acceptance rate, they could still have hundreds of domains listed on Atom, while someone with a 50% rate on just 10 submissions only has 5 domains accepted.

We’ve had the same laws for 200 years, and nothing will change overnight. There are both pros and cons. On the other hand, you can buy Sedo, leverage AI, and make a real difference by creating leaner organizations by not firing people more reduce unnecessary roles and reallocate people to more valuable work, ultimately improving profitability.
There are many possibilities, but people are often afraid of managing large, labor-heavy organizations. As a result, they avoid taking risks, even when clear opportunities exist.
I worked for several years as a Lean Manager. CEOs often asked me to lay people off, but instead I focused on identifying MUDA (waste) and using the freed capacity to eliminate inefficiencies. When people are reassigned to more meaningful work, they are usually more satisfied and those who aren’t tend to leave naturally, which still results in cost savings.

@andrewrosener @MyBrandDomains @doronvermaat IMO, with the acceleration of AI adoption, these laws won’t survive the next decade. New founders and business owners won’t default to hiring the way companies used to. They’ll agentify as much of their business as they possibly can while keeping a very lean team of human staff.

Behind these reports, there are real analysts and companies. They are mainly made for businesses, not individuals, so for companies the cost can absolutely be worth it.

@Aladey $5,850 for a 449 page PDF report? Did you buy it?
English

@namecheapceo123 Ok, I initially thought this was a layer covering all « failed payments » in Spaceship due to the checks, but it seems it’s just escrow more like an optional feature.

USA teaming up with China, this is the ultimate reality check for all those blind Trump fans who still think he actually cares about America… or about them.
As I always say, At the end of the day, there’s only one thing that rules this world: money.
Learn how to make it. Stack it. And then sit back and laugh at the fools screaming at each other over politics like it actually matters.
Everything else is just noise. 🫡

What a month. One of my favorite domains , maybe one of the best ever w.xyz was registered and seems to be on path to being an incredible project. @xyz community continues to get funded and launch interesting projects. I’m pot committed to buy a slate.auto at this point.

The secret to not selling my names retail is too high prices, landers pointed away from afternic, boost turned off. And average names ! In case you needed a tip 😉
English

This happens a lot in the real world, especially with small businesses. I deal with it often some customers tell me the developers already moved forward with the domain name before realizing the importance of securing the right one.
