just saw a review paper state that a certain strain of Bacillus can reduce CO2 by 97%, which I found dubious. turns out, in the original paper, its when isolated carbonic anhydrase is mixed in a sterile soil microcosm then its 97%. so just a few meaningful caveats on that one
