I’ve looked into this very minimally, so I’m genuinely asking. Why are people opposing data centers so hard? My gut feeling is it’s hippies opposing nuclear power 2.0, but I’m willing to be convinced otherwise.

@Fat_Electrician @DefiniteBear I work for a large data center in Lithia Springs Georgia and legitimately it is silent there. I can hear birds and frogs because of how remote we are. There are data centers from competitors near us and no noise from them either. Either it's cherry picking or lies

Kaelyn Lunglhofer made the video to celebrate finishing high school. But the app turned it into ads shown to men in her dorm and around the campus in Knoxville. The ads made her look like she was looking for casual dates on the app. She only found out about the ads when one of the men who saw them sent the video to her.
