Excellent points regarding what it takes to play Big Nickel. Corners need to fill the outside lanes to make it all work.

Everyone wants their team to copy the Texans and Seahawks big nickel model, but one thing you have to understand, your CB need to be physical and come up and tackle in the run game, not every CB in the NFL is built to do that. Seahawks'Witherspoon and Josh Jobe Texans Lassiter and Stingley Not to mention the physicality of the guys they have playing big nickel, Everybody loves the scheme but their are some key factors that make it work.

@devpanchwagh Drafted players where always decent, its been coaching & preparation. Harbaugh is a good coach, his message just went stale. All the cloak & dagger & hard ass crap wore off compared to the new age coaches coming into the league. Coach & team needed new scenery

Rivers ranked as top 100 player who the #Ravens took in the 5th. Incredible value. As was Benny.

#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta told @MikeSilver that at No. 14 he believed he had a trade in place that would’ve kept Baltimore in the teens while adding extra 4th-round picks in each of the next two drafts, but once on the clock, the other team unexpectedly backed out and altered the terms, leading the Ravens to pass on the deal.
Baltimore had three players they liked on the board: TE Kenyon Sadiq, DE Rueben Bain, and G Vega Ioane, who they ultimately selected.

I’m not going more hard for nobody. The ravens asked me to announce their picks in Pittsburgh. What else I’m supposed to do except hold it down properly?? @DrJesseMorse @AdamSchefter Last thing a player wants to do is operate on his neck if they dnt have to. You try everything possible before doing surgery. My dad had 5 back surgeries & the 6th one put him into a wheelchair, I know the doctors arent the same quality but surgery is still surgery.
