@ClydeDoSomethin There will be no apologies. Isaac Brock is our beloved champion of Canada. Even if a Liberal celebrates him, then so be it. All Canadians should know and appreciate what he did for Canada.

We hear a lot about removing the name Dundas from public spaces — but the historical story behind that push is rarely told in full. This reel looks at the role Henry Dundas actually played in the abolition debate, why parliamentary compromise mattered in the 1790s, and how one word helped a motion survive the realities of British politics. History isn’t about defending individuals or ignoring injustice — it’s about understanding evidence, context, and how change really happened. If we want informed conversations about renaming and remembrance, we need to start with the historical record, not assumptions. For a deeper discussion of this topic, listen to Episode 11 of the History Matters Podcast at buff.ly/Ml9I7a2 #CanadianHistory #HistoryMatters #CIHE #HenryDundas #Dundas #CanadianHistory #HistoryMatters #CIHE #Dundas #Sanfoka

The Canadian Institute for Historical Education is so pleased to support and work alongside Professor Christopher Dummit. His podcasts “Well…That Didn’t Suck” and “1867 And All That” are brilliant. cihe.ca/2026/01/01/wel…

@jdmstewart1 @TorontoArgos Recommendations: 1) Greater percentage of Canadian players to generate local interest. 2) Banning all rehearsed TD celebrations. 3) Banning all trash talk.

There's a lot on this platform about the attendance @TorontoArgos games. I would like to hear from the smart people out there who have actual solutions to improve attendance. The team actually needs a 5-year plan for this. But I'll accept immediate, low-hanging fruit ideas.

Turns out the @TorontoArgos attendance today was an utter embarrassment to everyone involved in the CFL. My hometown of Windsor could have drawn 13k (most likely less as that number was juiced). Toronto coming off a grey cup championship continues to battle Edmonton for the toilet bowl of fan attendance. Let’s not piss on people’s back and tell them it’s raining. The attendance today (for what turned out to be a great football game) was an utter embarrassment.
