Just watched the "Cross the Line" episode for @michaeljknowles. It's surreal that the man with Michael admitted to being brainwashed and seemed to understand, even slightly, the truth, but was conditioned into believing he shouldn't admit it. Really sad, but a great interview.

@christofuturist @whatifalthist I dunno, does seem like US presidents in either party have their kids marrying into a different ethnoreligious order at a high rate, given that they are 0.02% of the world population. I mean, there do seem to be some sound bits of "noticing" things going on at times.

People keep on saying “touch grass” “you’re too online.” The thing is I’ve hiked 600 miles on the Appalachian trail, lived in 6 countries, worked as a janitor at a brewery, lived in 7 states, I try to talk to all kinds of people and I found social clubs as a hobby in different places. From all that “going outside”, outside f****ng sucks. People are poor and depressed. Outside is more often than not a gas station and parking lot ringed by highways you’re not allowed to walk on. Off the internet people are more normie but they’re not in good shape by any means. Everyone is suffering in modern America whether or not they’ll admit it. Think of celebrities, none of which are sane anymore really or just go through your extended family. What are their lives like? Also “outside” is often a parking lot. Outside is rarely walkable in America. I like where I live now but most places are like this. There’s basically no where to meet people “outside”. The reason we’re online so much is to partly avoid outside. Also on a statistical basis Gen Z spends more time on the internet than outside is not “the real society anymore.” The internet is defiantly more demonstrative of the zeitgeist than irl associations. I’ve gone on an over an hour walk each day of the last week. It’s something I do regularly as a way to clear my head. That being said those walks are nice but they’re not going to solve all the issues in my life or society. Go outside is good advice but it’s not the fix all people act like.
