People can hear good things about a movie from their friends, which makes them curious, pay the money to go see it, but still walk out of the theatre going, “no sir, didn’t like it”. Money doesn’t mean good movie making. I remember when “Pretty Woman” came out, and my friends said it was good, so ok I was curious to see if it was, so I paid the money to go see it. That movie made a lot of money, I couldn’t stand it, NOT a good film. You know what I mean?

Well, look at it this way, everyone is curious about the subject matter, who’s in it and who made it. So they go see it. That doesn’t mean that 3 hours later they leave the theatre and say to themselves “well, that wasn’t very good”. Curiosity on mass brings them in, because they’ve never seen it before, how can they know if it’s a good movie if they’ve never seen it? You know?
