#MUFC played well before red card, managed game with 10 men.
Mainoo great knitting play, Cunha took responsibility for carrying ball. Bournemouth energy caused issues.
Atwell the focus, by coincidence having refereed 2-2 at Turf Moor when Martinez goal ruled out for a push.
🚨 Bruno Fernandes: "I know it's tough for a referee to give two penalties to the same team in the same match, but I don't understand why one foul is a penalty and the other isn't. The foul on Amad is a penalty." #MUFC
Match suddenly upside down. Maguire with a hand on Evanilson that was lighter than Amad received for his penalty claim - but this time adjudged foul + red. Can’t square those calls.

@IOweVarane Need a new LB, physically he’s not at his peak & his build-up tendencies have dropped quite significantly too. He’s just a steady player, need a physically imposing LB like Dorgu on the outside.
Some very nice attacks, last 15 minutes weren’t great but love some of the footy from Mainoo, Cunha & the CBs. Full-backs aren’t providing enough support for the wide lads. We’re in a good position though, Sesko sub vs these should work well too. At least we look sharper.
Credit to #mufc and Jason Wilcox for investing in Sesko and not Watkins. Difficult to think of a more defeatist-looking striker at Old Trafford than Watkins this season. Sesko’s body language the polar opposite. Superb mentality to get another goal off the bench.
It’s Carrick, you know. Can’t believe the chippiness from Scholes. It’s Carrick who's helping out the club he loves, stepping into the breach after Amorim’s meltdown. You can question Carrick's subs against 10 men. Amad could have been earlier. Heaven can play left-back - Malacia's so off the pace. It’s not Carrick's squad. Areas need strengthening, full-back, central midfield, probably a winger. You can’t question Carrick’s commitment.
Carrick’s only intention is to help out Manchester United. It’s not about him. It’s about the club. It’s about making the fans believe again, proud of their team again. It’s about starting the rebuilding. United’s board are being very sensible. Give Carrick until the end of the season, get them in the Champions League, and then make a decision on permanent head coach. There's far more chance of getting an elite manager if in the CL. Carrick’s not perfect but at least he’s chipping in, not being chippy. #MUFC
@R_o_M Haven’t looked great since Spurs. Intensity has dropped massively - why? Subs poor tonight. Had to go for it earlier. But he’s done a great job in keeping us in the race. Still think we need a top manager in the summer.
Commentators talking about Carrick having a face like thunder. And he can be annoyed with the players. There wasn’t enough from them tonight and two goals conceded because of shite defending. But I hope he’s just as angry with himself. Cocked it up tonight. Must do better.
