If you’re a trend trader, sideways is kryptonite. Opinions are worthless. You don’t need to “think” the market will go higher eventually, or “think” there’s an imminent crash brewing. You simply need to recognize sideways and act accordingly.

I don't know the real answer, but I would assume they were the first to really see human emotional patterns in price action. The ones that existed when no one was really looking, hence accurate. - Than they described them and everyone uses them now - so they are powerful because they were true, and very powerful now that they are used consistently. Seems like a good educated guess at least.

90% of the charts I see on X are misdiagnosed. The level of incompetency about charting shown on X is just unbelievable. This is NOT an inverse H&S.
