The time lag between receiving information and acting on that information is what I call the Information-Action Gap. An observation about the highest performing people I've been around: They have a razor-thin Information-Action Gap. They quickly act on gathered information.

Dopamine from information gathering is a dangerous drug. Your entire life will change the moment you stop looking for more information and start acting on the information you already have. Get your dopamine from action.
