"Keir Starmer realises that this would be the seventh PM since Brexit - it is 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘥. "It makes us a national joke if we cannot, as a nation, hold on to a PM more than 18 months." Is Starmer's refusal to go a sign of arrogance, or an attempt to avoid another psychodrama?

@lewis_goodall The Conservatives are eagerly flocking to Reform, while the rest are hoping for an invitation from Nigel Farage to form a coalition Seems that 87 Labour MPs want to trigger a political crisis—or perhaps their goal is to be invited to join Reform or to call for a new election?

@lewis_goodall In the last parliamentary election, in which the public gave a mandate to the Labour Party, which won the election by a clear margin The next United Kingdom general election is scheduled to be held no later than August 15, 2029.

@TheNewsAgents Labour got 21% of the electorate vote. That’s not a mandate, it’s an anomaly.

This simply doesn’t cut it. Saying Britain should be at the heart of Europe means nothing if Labour keeps ruling out the very steps that would get us there. If Starmer thinks vague words on Europe will keep him in Number 10, he is badly mistaken.

@KemiBadenoch Unconstructive opposition will lead the Tory Party to total collapse in the next election. When Tory leaders can’t come up with anything to offer the public, all they can do is comment on what people have said and what has happened—that’s not leadership, it’s parroting.

Keir Starmer’s speech was sad to watch. With so many resets, even his reset button needs a reset. But I do not take pleasure in watching the Prime Minister flounder. The country needs leadership, not another speech from a man who clearly knows something has gone badly wrong, but still can't explain why. This is Labour’s real problem. It is not just Starmer - all the pretenders jostling for his job do not have the answers either, because they all believe the same things: more welfare, more state control, more borrowing, more regulation. They are busy arguing over who should drive the car, but the truth is they are all heading in the wrong direction. They have no vision for the future. What we need is to get Britain working again. That is why I have proposed an alternative King’s Speech with a a clear plan to reward effort, cut the cost of government, secure our borders, rebuild industry and back families who do the right thing. If Labour are serious about fixing the country they could do all of this tomorrow. Whether they have the bravery or the common sense to do that is a different matter.

This is the choice. A highly regarded and admired former Director of Public Prosecutions and head of the Crown Prosecution Service, fully vetted by the Security Service or a lying, corrupt, chancer with no political experience who sold Britain out and is probably a Russian asset
