I shaved part of my head today to support the @NVKidsCancer ! Councilman Paul Anderson even gave me a mohawk for the occasion. On Friday, I’ll be shaving the rest with my City of Sparks team members at the Reno Ballroom. 💚💛

This year, I’m participating in St. Baldrick’s to raise funds for childhood cancer research, and we’re taking on “West Sparks” (Reno)! To help spread awareness, I dyed my hair with a leprechaun rainbow look, but I’ll be shaving it off next week.

Union Pacific has dropped off the first load of bricks from the historic machine shop building at Cottonwood Park, located at 777 Spice Islands Drive. Bricks will be available during park hours, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., while supplies last.

Stop and smell those roses. Dozens of Nevada @AARP volunteers joined Councilman @DonaldForSparks to surprise seniors on Valentine’s Day by delivering more than 200 roses to our Reno and Sparks Washoe County Senior Center locations.

I'm working on something with a local organization that would help provide a resource for individuals in our community that may not be able to afford or have the means to abate graffiti on their property a free solution.
