This afternoon, I had the honor of officiating as the chief guest at the graduation of 101 students at Great Lakes Regional University, Kanungu District. I congratulate @CHRISBARYOMUNS1 on his installation as Chancellor and commend the graduates on their achievements. I also cautioned the people of Kanungu, especially the youth, against sectarianism based on religion, emphasizing that it hinders development and has no place in Parliament. I highlighted how the university, founded by an Anglican, was later rescued by a Catholic during a time of crisis—an example of unity over division. I urged everyone to focus on progress and development.
