I wouldn’t be close to getting rid of AJ, but my biggest frustration is that he won’t change it up. The platoons and situational analytics work great when you have a competent team full of major leaguers. They don’t. Play small ball, steal bases, bunt. Be scrappy.

@omarisankofa I think they need to get bigger up front, Pistons "bigs" are undersized as the league is structured now. Love beef Stew, but he is just to short at center. Shooting and ball handling for sure. But add a BIG man. Proud of how our young fellas played, just need some help.

Langdon said ball-handling and shooting are areas they'll look to improve. "A lot of the teams that are successful have a lot of players that can initiate, whether bringing the ball up or in the halfcourt … we’ll look at some of those things."

@totallytigersbb To me this problem has been around before Avila was let go. Very little clutch hitting, and no desire by upper management to fix an obvious problem.

Don't know which is worse - the Detroit Tigers losing yet another game in extra innings by 1 run or that they couldn't give Casey Mize a single run when he pitched an outstanding shutout 6 innings.

Today, I've had a phrase going over and over in my head. "God doesn't miss a detail." After receiving my PET scan results yesterday, I had my routine treatment today, which included a check-in with my oncologist. When she walked in, she pulled up the PET imaging and said, "I want to explain something to you. I need you to understand how significant this is." She showed me the findings from my original scan and compared them to the results from yesterday. She goes, "This isn't normal. It's exceptional, really. We just don't see this type of response when you're as early into your treatment. It's exceptional. Like, we don't see this." On the imaging, everything is significantly smaller. Two spots are gone, and everything that is still visible is shrinking and decreasing in activity. She looked at me with a grin and said, "Emily, you're trending towards no evidence of disease (or N.E.D, which is metastatic's version of remission)." So, a medication I was told two months ago wasn't even worth trying by a different oncologist is now exceeding normal expectations with a "truly exceptional response." God is ABLE.

I just walked out of church after great service , and I can’t shake this feeling… we’re wasting way too much of the little time we’ve been given. Not because we’re lazy, but because we’re distracted by things that don’t matter. We stress over money, opinions, validation, social media… we hold onto resentment, bitterness, anger, things people said years ago, and none of it serves any purpose in God’s kingdom. None of it is coming with you when this life is over.
