@pammieplusparks @carlyewisel Those changes happened because people were taking advantage of the DAS system. My local Six Flags park has no rules around DAS and the place is a logical nightmare.

@carlyewisel As a disabled person impacted by DAS changes I've been shouting to everyone that it was done to clear LL for people paying to use the service & here we see that was the case. Disney doesn't legally have to provide free accommodations beyond the basics but it's hard losing access.

It's been a bitter pill to swallow, but I've accepted these are not the same theme parks from before the pandemic. It's a different company, the blow of constant nickel-and-diming is unlikely to relent and for those of us who have emotional ties to these places, it's really hard.

The new Haunted Mansion gift shop is like half the size of the Mansion facade. The contradiction in scale between two structures that are supposed to exist in harmony together is insane. It’s wild how they’ve just totally wrecked New Orleans Square over the last two decades.
