I know from my own losses and in reading your comments on X/Twitter how distraught many of you are with falling share prices.
In looking at the likely 2026 industry-wide Box Office, we still expect it to grow materially over 2025 and if so that inexorably would significantly increase AMC’s EBITDA.
However, the external macro backdrop around us is terrible. War in the Middle East, world oil prices soaring above $100 per barrel and other concerns have knocked the Dow Jones average to its lowest point in five months and the S&P 500 to its lowest point in four months.
As for AMC, I am optimistic about our power to increase our earnings this year over last year.
As for the state of the world, we will all read the news together. Naturally, we all can wish for the best on global developments.

We took so much derision in 2022 when we invested $28 million in Hycroft Minimg. Investing in a gold and silver mine, they scoffed! Today our total Hycroft holdings (including the cash from our November sale), are worth about $72 million. He who laughs last, laughs best.

Based on Nicholas's posts and AMC stock history, he claims an 88% hit rate, admitting ~12% misses (e.g., one macro bottom thesis in 2024). Recent low PTs like $1-1.20 aligned with prices dropping to ~$1.60 in Jan 2026. Earlier ones like $3.80 (Oct 2025) missed as avg was ~$2.9. I've identified at least 4 clear misses out of 20+ PTs.

“Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service, and AMC Entertainment, the world’s largest theatre chain, have jointly decided to work together.
This new cooperation will start this Halloween weekend. AMC will show Netflix's most-popular movie in its history, KPop Demon Hunters. It will play on approximately 400 AMC screens across its theatres in the U.S. and Europe.
While the two companies have not had a commercial relationship in recent years, both Netflix and AMC are intrigued by the mutually beneficial opportunities that could arise from this and future collaboration.
Discussions are underway as to what that may entail, but no further details are being shared at this time.”
