💡💡I first learned of Jorge Ventura @VenturaReport while watching his coverage of #NancyGuthrie's abduction.
This was also when I learned about the brave work of Madres Buscadoras de Sonora @MadresBuscan. Watching these ladies search for Nancy in Tucson touched me deeply. They, and countless others in Mexico, regularly search for the remains of missing loved ones. Loved ones who disappeared likely at the hands of the cartel.
Jorge is now devoting his work telling stories of some of those missing. I pray God will protect him and keep him safe as he works on his new documentary.

Watching the Madres Buscadoras de Sonora in Tucson touched me deeply. Learning more about them, and the countless others who search for their loved ones was heart wrenching and something I imagine not many Americans know about.

5 years ago today, one of my biggest fans, my Grandma, passed away. When I needed to stay an extra year at Syracuse after transferring into the communication school, she didn’t hesitate for a second to support me and help make it happen. When I told her I was moving to pursue this career, she was one of the few who didn’t think I was crazy. Believing in me is an understatement. When I saw an opportunity in Houston, Texas, she was right there again, encouraging me and believing in my vision. She told me Texas was where I was meant to be. She passed away… and the very next day, I got the call that I got the job. She watched every single report in every market I worked in, and even at 84 years old she figured out how to stream it on it her phone. Being the stereotypical Jewish grandmother, she was never afraid to tell me what looked great… and what didn’t look so great on air. She was a fireball. Her support was even fiercer and on the hardest days, I know she’s still watching. I love you, Grams. I try every day to make you proud. Always and forever ❤️

Once they’re finished, they will come back out in front of cameras and whoever still left in the audience. They will make public their decision about how to move forward with sheriff Nanos.👍

Executive Session Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3), for legal advice and discussion with Outside Counsel regarding draft language and questions about which the Board will seek a report under oath from Sheriff Chris Nanos - concerning matters ranging from his work history to other personnel, management or internal affairs matters of concern, to immigration enforcement, to any other related matters connected with the duties of his office - in alignment with A.R.S. §11-253(A). I can spot an upcoming Dateline NBC episode from a mile away:
On Saturday April 4th Lynette Hooker, 55, was on an 8-foot boat with her husband Brian, 58, when she went overboard.
According to her husband, Lynette had the keys to the boat when she fell into the water. He said he had to paddle for hours before reaching Marsh Harbor Boat Yard early Sunday morning, where he told someone what had happened.
Lynette’s daughter made a statement saying “My sole concern is to find out what happened to my mother and make sure a full and complete investigation is performed into her disappearance”
Lynette is still missing
