The ACC today announced plans for a Syracuse-Wake Forest game in Toronto to open the 2027 football season. Game is expected to be played on either August 28 or August 29 & will air on either ABC or ESPN.

No, this is not a retweet from last night! Wake Forest walks off Louisville in back-to-back games!
This game had everything you could ask for and more! Homers by Tague Davis (again), great pitching by Chris Levonas and Ethan Eberle, robberies at the wall, ejections, insane double plays, and a walk-off.
I do believe this most certainly ends any at-large bid chances for the Louisville Cardinals.
By far the best game I have attended so far this season.
Unfortunately, this was my last game at The Couch in 2026 as I will be out of town for a family wedding next weekend.
But I couldn’t ask for a better way to end things here in Winston-Salem.

The Mets’ rainout allowed their hitting coach Troy Snitker to buy a last-minute flight to Atlanta to see his dad inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame tonight. Troy left Citi Field around 10:30 am, flew from LGA to ATL and knocked on his dad’s door at The Omni in The Battery around 3:15 pm. Snit thought it was the hotel maid. Needless to say, it was a wonderful surprise
