Nattokinase isn’t high on my list for cardiovascular prevention. I don’t see convincing evidence that it should be a primary strategy for cardiovascular disease or stroke risk reduction. If the goal is cardiovascular prevention, there are options with much stronger support. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA + DHA) have far better evidence. And if we’re talking specifically about atherosclerosis, berberine has a much more compelling evidence base—it’s been shown to reduce plaque formation, while also improving LDL, HbA1c, and glucose regulation. Nattokinase may be interesting mechanistically, but right now the clinical evidence just isn’t strong enough for me to view it as a serious front-line strategy.

@NefflynB I get that from weightlifting. More specifically whenever I rerack the dumbbells from doing heavy shrugs the bottom of my gym shirt gets caught between the rack and the dumbbell. Pulling the shirt’s fabric free over time creates those little holes you see.

My guess is he hurt it on the previous play when he ran into the cornerback as he couldn’t even get out of the huddle on the next play. One of those unforeseen butterfly moments that led to the outcome of the NFC championship game.

@Coach_Yac @JDSchnitz There is a lot to unpack from that game but as for special teams his first turnover led to a Giants TD. Also he was only playing because Ted Ginn got hurt the week before in the Saints playoff game.
