The UK's national threat level has increased to "severe". I know this will be a source of concern, particularly amongst our Jewish community. We should all be vigilant as we go about our daily lives, reporting any concerns to the police. Today, we have increased funding to protect our Jewish community. We will do everything in our power to rid our country of the evil of antisemitism. @kennardmatt @169Nomis There are few Muslims supporting the hate marches, more militant groups recruiting vulnerable people for their own agendas. Threatening to wipe out a nation probably is "hate speech" tbh. Human rights are an issue in many states in the region - During peacetime!

Yesterday’s terror attack was the latest in a spate of vile attacks on the Jewish community. We’re taking action. Today, we’ve increased enhanced funding and we’re fast-tracking legislation to deal with malign state actors. This government will work with police and criminal justice leaders to deliver swift justice. We all have a duty, as a country, to root out antisemitism.

The terrorist attack in Golders Green was abhorrent. An extra £25 million will be invested to increase police patrols and security to help keep Jewish communities safe. We will now fast track legislation so we can further combat the activities of malign state-sponsored groups.

I am deeply concerned about the terrorist attack that took place today. This is not an isolated incident. It is the latest in a spate of utterly vile attacks on the Jewish community. I’ve just chaired an emergency COBR meeting and tomorrow I’ll be bringing together criminal justice agencies to ensure we have effective and swift justice.
