UPDATE: Edina Police do confirm one person is dead after a shooting a 39-unit facility that supports permanent housing for young adults. They also confirm they are searching for "more than one" suspect and nobody is in custody at this time.

Edina Police: There is a large police presence occurring now, Wednesday April 22nd at 12:30pm, in the 3300 block of 66th Street West in Edina. AVOID the area until further notice. More updates to come.

EDINA: Officers are on scene after a report of a shooting near an apartment building at 3330 W. 66th Street. According to initial radio dispatches, a male victim was found down and unresponsive, with bystanders performing CPR around 12:30 p.m. A perimeter is being set up with multiple assisting agencies and State Patrol flight support requested. There is limited suspect information available as of now, though the male suspect was possibly still in the area and on foot as of around 12:40 p.m. Call 911 with any information.
