On Monday Night Mark Roberts was awarded Life Membership of Doreen CFA. Mark has been a member for over 22 years and during the time has held many positions including Captain, Secretary and currently Treasurer Mark is the 4th person awarded Life Membership in the Brigades history

LONDON BRIDGE HAS FALLEN Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96, Buckingham Palace has announced. The Doreen CFA Flag will fly at half mast for the next 10 Days as a sign of respect.

Today there is a State Memorial in Honour of Jane Garrett, our station flag is flying at half mast as a sign of respect. Jane was a strong advocate for CFA (Country Fire Authority) during her time as Emergency Services Minister. Vale Jane.

At the Seymour CFA DMO (District Mechanical Officer) to have an issue resolved on the Doreen Tanker. The issue was quickly attended to by the efficient team who look after a massive fleet of varied vehicles. The workshop is well worth a visit if you ever get the chance.

Doreen CFA hosted a General Fire Fighter Consolidation day on Sunday. It’s an opportunity for recruit firefighters to put into practice some of the skills they’ve learnt. Recruits from Macedon CFA, Point Cook CFA, Mernda CFA & Doreen CFA took part all working together.
