34 years ago, today, an Air Ambulance flight crashed shortly after take-off from Essendon airport, claiming the lives of Flight Nurse Deleine Bury, Pilot Bill Suhr and four patients. We remember the six lives lost on that day and all of those impacted by this dreadful tragedy.
