Apex pro scrims and customs should be the training ground for ALGS aspiring players, not ranked. Half the people they kill are platinum level solo queue dads who just got off an 8 hours shift at the plant.

@Double0_ Uhhhhh no. As someone who never solo queues because I live with my teammate, this is ass for us when we wanna work on our team fighting and comms outside of scrims. Especially when it’s supposed to be a competitive game mode. Take out duo pubs, put in solos ranked instead.

📋TESTING: From June 9th to June 23rd we will be conducting the following test in Ranked: Ranked will be solo queue only for all players Diamond and above. If you are Diamond or higher, you will not be able to squad up as a premade in Ranked. Our hypotheses are that this will create more evenly matched high-skill lobbies, reduce hard-carries into Diamond, Master and Predator and build trust in the overall fairness of these matches. While this is a commonly requested feature by portions of our community, we will be closely monitoring community sentiment and match data. Note: The in-game notification that some encountered yesterday (May 19th) was a visual error, and players are currently still able to squad up without restrictions.

I get that but realistically not everyone can afford to pay a monthly fee to scrim and ranked was all they had to play/practice. I’m all for solo queue ranked bc I solo queue mainly right now anyways, but just doesn’t seem fair to the majority that don’t have the privilege to be able to afford it.

@Double0_ you plat or diamond? There's throwers in all ranks sadly, people will still throw Top 500 lobbies. I'm GM2 and had two games in a row where damages didn't want to counterswap so we have better chance of actually winning. Egos get hurt even when you kindly make a suggestion.
