It's been over 3 years since the Netflix tennis series Break Point came out and I still can't quite believe how much of a missed opportunity it turned out to be. The idea of following the storylines of a tour as global and non-stop as tennis was so fucking cool and yeeeeet... 🥀

@Gill_Gross Agreed, also the ticket prices have gotten out of control (especially for US Open) so now you’re paying more for less with every match being so crowded

POV: You forgot the deciding-set tiebreak in a major is first to 10, not 7.

I've seen Serena, Carlos and Novak at the World Cup Final so far from the tennis world... Anyone I've missed?

True he was too in between enjoying himself and then when the match starts wanting to play serious competitive tennis, bc obv he wanted to win when he plays If he wasn’t gonna put in the prep, he should have just fully committed to having fun and not taking the game too seriously, which goes to your point Instead he didn’t put in the prep in to max his athleticism and then would get angry when things didn’t go his way, when he deep down knew he was unprepared. Which can be a toxic mindset when you’re trying to win a tennis match. Just trying to having fun with no attachment to the end results would have been his best path

@Zwxsh Carlos forehand is better but Nadal is a lefty so it’s a little more effective against most players cuz it’s easier for him to target players typically weaker backhand side

Is Rafa Nadal's forehand the greatest shot in tennis history?

@Jerrythekid21 It’s an even better watch in person, these guys are physical freaks and go at each other for up to 5 hours some matches

The takeaway shouldn't be that Zverev's forehand was perfect in the 1st set. It was far from it. He made lots of errors on it, FAR more than usual. The takeaway is that he had the stomach for those errors and that the appetite for risk didn't waiver on pressure points.

@Gill_Gross We always knew what he had to do to change things, but he felt so unwilling to take risks for so long Now with no burden on his shoulders, he seems way more willing to take chances and play attacking tennis. Im all for this fully unlocked version of Zverev

Zverev's aggression levels right now are unrecognizable. Win or lose today, he's making sure the tennis is going to look very different.

Wimbledon Final Best Bet (2u) Sinner - Zverev Under 38.5 games -120 Like if Tailing ❤️ I’m not betting against this version of Sinner, Saschas only chance to keep this close is to serve 80+% first serves in
