Jonathan Brown, a Professor at @Georgetown, responded to a post calling out Islamic rape gangs in the UK, saying, "Get over it." He deleted the comment, but then DOUBLED DOWN using the SAME disgusting response when another user called him out. Do you support this @Georgetown?

🧵 THREAD: Democrats TEACH voter identification and election integrity ... just not in America The Democratic Party has an international arm called the National Democratic Institute (NDI). It's funded by $181M/year in US tax dollars. Its board includes Stacey Abrams, Donna Brazile, and Tom Daschle. But in regards to today's SAVE America Act debate... did you know that the NDI has taught and supervised election processes all over the world? For 40 years, NDI has told every developing country on earth that voter ID is essential for election integrity. They've recommended biometric systems... yes, that's right, NDI recommended biometric systems, which goes way beyond SAVE America Act! They praised fingerprint verification. Tracked ID card issuance rates. Meanwhile, Democrats call the SAVE Act "Jim Crow 2.0." Same party. Same people. Opposite positions. As always, patience as I pull together the thread 👇

We did not use the majority of our cash from the convert debt that was funded at the closing of the deal. We sat on it, which gave us lots of optionality now that bitcoin has fallen so significantly off the all-time high. We repurchased about $135 million of the convert at $0.88 on the dollar, have been buying back discounted shares, and were able to buy 450 more bitcoin and lower our total cost basis while doing it.

We have acquired another 450 bitcoin at $BRR. We continue to aggressively repurchase shares trading below NAV. “Our disciplined approach to our balance sheet has put us in a position to play offense now that Bitcoin has significantly fallen from the all-time high.”

Well well well… Autism claims to Medicaid in Minnesota after Somalians opened centers: 2018: $3 million 2019: $54 million 2020: $77 million 2021: $183 million 2022: $279 million 2023: $399 million How did they hide it? The need for “culturally appropriate” centers. Deport.

The court ruled that people who enter the US illegally must stay in detention (like jail) during their deportation process, without a chance for bail or release on bond. This applies even if they've been here a while, reversing lower court decisions that allowed bonds. One judge disagreed, saying it should be narrower.

You and all your friends could just pool your money to buy Tut Hill with 21 buildings on 36 acres including an 1825 church, four single family homes, a two family home, three apartments, and a studio guesthouse and have your own little New England village. No one would stop you.

@KentleighE I think you would have to make it a base contribution amount for the land and outbuildings and a differential for the dwelling you occupy. The studio guesthouse guy might only be $250K for example. Still a lot.

Is this adjusted for the number of workers per product. If in 1940 it took a million workers to build 5 million cars per year but today it only takes 250,000 to build 5 million cars, it would show up as workers taking a smaller percentage even if they were paid 25% more in real wages.

US workers are taking home less of what they produce than ever before: US labor now reflects 53.8% of US GDP, the lowest since data began in 1947. This metric shows how much of the economic output goes to workers through wages, salaries, bonuses, and benefits. Since 2001, this percentage has declined -10.4 points. Meanwhile, corporate profit margins after tax are up to 10.9%, the 2nd-highest on record. This means workers are producing more, but corporations are capturing an increasing portion of the gains. The American worker is getting squeezed.

@MrTimeAttack @wholemars In the 50s-60s, the gov collected between 16%-19% of gdp, today it is between 16%-18%. The 1% paid an effective marginal rate between 35%-45%, today it’s 25%, our deficits were about 1% of gdp, now it is about 5.5%.

Why do people believe that taxing billionaires more is suddenly going to fix all of our problems? In 2025, the federal government spent $1.8 TRILLION more than they made in tax revenue. If we instituted a 100% wealth tax and confiscated all the stock holdings of Elon Musk, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, and Mark Zuckerberg you would be able to balance the budget… for one year. What are you going to do the year after that? Assuming a 5% wealth tax per year, taxing those 6 billionaires would raise $94 billion. That means the deficit would be $1.7 trillion instead of $1.8 trillion. Meanwhile all those guys lose control of their companies. What exactly does that solve? We can’t tax our way out of this situation. Cracking down on waste, fraud, and abuse is essential.

The chart's percentages reflect SNAP participation rates within specific ancestry groups, drawn from U.S. Census American Community Survey data (e.g., Table S0201). For context, USDA reports show Whites as the largest overall recipient group at ~35% in 2023, as these rates apply to smaller populations for many listed ethnicities.
