@Aj71V He’s made some bad decisions recently but that doesn’t at all diminish the fact that his consistency keeps us in games when we aren’t doing well. The only one you could truly rely on to see a game out regardless of team performance.

One of the first times as well this season I’ve seen us change up tactics and formation with the 5 at the back and the balls over the top seemed to be working quite well. It was kinda weird seeing Spurs pretty much play against us with our usual tactics and structure. #avfc

Unfortunate losing 4-0 at home after Villa Park being such a fortress for most of this season. Some crucial games coming up now & Ajax midweek is a must win. The top 4 race is going to become very tight now so we’ll have to look to figure out our priorities for this season. #AVFC

I didn’t think we actually played that badly today. Martinez wasn’t tested majority of the game really & then the two goals came. McGinn one of the worst players to be sent off being so integral to how we play. The only player with bite if we are playing badly. #AVFC

He gave unbelievable fouls to United yesterday particularly on Rashford on multiple occasions as well as taking his time to assess Kamara’s tackle realising it’s a foul because the United player is on the floor. #AVFC

Rob Jones is without a doubt one of the worst referees in the Premier League. We’ve had him a fair few times now and doesn’t seem to stop making terrible decisions. He booked our players of descent immediately but calls Bruno Fernandes over for a ‘chat?’ #AVFC

Ollie Watkins has more goals and assists this season in the premier league than Nunez and subsequently, also more combined in all competitions. End of debate. Some people are genuinely so out of touch. #avfc

Idk whether it’s the media that has done this or some weird ‘big 6’ obsession that has given fans the delusion that Darwin Nunez has more goals and assists in Premier League than Watkins this season. They can’t seem to get their head around it because of the arse licking. #AVFC
