Annoying thing is Tielemans will be class for #mufc. I get Villa’s position to be honest. His age & contract means Villa need to do the best they can. Jewel in Villa’s crown is Emery though so full faith in us replacing strongly. Youri has been class though. #avfc

@mrmojorisin1975 Depends. If they get out of UEFA sanctions in 12 months time by adhering to the agreement and managed to get back to back champions league campaigns (albeit tough), they’d be a bit free’er to then invest. But it’s hard to say. He’ll eek out every last drop. It’s what he does.

Not sure why the narrative was ever that Villa were in the market to sell their best & most valuable asset this summer. You kind of expect it when your a team lower down the league (like we were when Benteke & Jack left) but we just won the Europa League & are in the UCL again.

@AlanHouston90 Don’t think the club want to do major surgery this summer, and the financial hole we need to fill clearly isn’t as much as people thought. The club will look to move on the fringe players and Bogarde/Martinez/Maatsen probably wouldn’t shock me.

@AwayDaysFB Tbf not true anymore. Villa offer it via the rewards programme in a ballot for ticket holders & then the rest go to military personnel children & those linked to local schools, Birmingham Children’s Hospital & Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Being a STH isn’t terrible, everyone kinda expected 5%, and the 23 game ST in my zone makes a CL game around £66 which is reasonable. But members must feel shafted. £99 for a CL game is eye watering. Yes they’ll sell, and that’s what the club care about but £99 is wild!
