Module 4: Infographics - I've always loved using spreadsheets and graphs and that was probably the beginning of infographics. As a new teacher, I'd love to hear if there are some math teachers that have used this in their classroom. #cit602

Kinda inline with the video about gaming and competing, has anyone figured out a way to post for students competing? Can't do grades. I've thought about percentage increase, but for smart kids they don't have that much room.#cit602

@KylieGempler @unlvpg Kylie, I think's it's more important than ever to teach students digital citizenship. Our online communications have continually degenerated and one of the main culprits is twitter. The way many adults use it makes it much harder for us to teach students etiquette.

I haven't run across the phrase Digital Citizenship before. Over the past couple of years I've become much concerned as it appears as though we've had a degradation in digital citizenship. It seems as though we've moved past simply disagreeing with someone #cit602

Module 2 is fun taking that walk back on technology memory lane. I go way back to the Atari and pong as my first technology. From the readings I really like the idea of letting the students discover with technology some our ideas for that day.

Life hack. So excited when I tried it! Ctrl+ and Ctrl- to make text on webpages larger and smaller. Don't have to mouse over and click to do it. #cit602

Just finished the Article, "How Twitter Can be a Powerful Tool" I love that the teacher would tweet examples from baseball games and students would work examples. Have you guys tried twitter this way? #cit602

@MyInfo70059909 I've been tutoring math and I ran across who has a teacher that has a video for each lesson that she does. My student would go back and watch them and I assume students that missed class could watch them (if they took the time!).

My kids will spend hours watching a Youtuber play a game while narrating. Got me thinking, how can I present a lesson in a similar fashion? Projects and experiments could work. Then saw Pixorial, Powtoon, and Storybuilder. More thinking needed! #cit602
