@grpwins This is patently absurd. With all that being said where do I sign up and how do I send you money?
English

@EdKrassen Ed, do you understand the Poly? I don’t think you do. Not a trump fan at all, but your reality is distorted if you think this is really a reflection of reality.

I almost got in a fight with Reggie at Jerry Famous Deli in Costa Mesa CA about 17 years ago.
Jackie (clevfan)@jackiehaz
Wow Reggie Jackson is 80 today! I remember when I was 19 or so & the NYY came to Cleveland. They always stayed at Steinbrenner’s stouffer Hotel. All of the other players gave autographs but Reggie would only sign the Thurmon Munson book ⚾️

There’s something special happening in St. Pete.
The Rays are LEGIT. They put pressure on a defense by putting the ball in play, have a starting rotation that rivals anybody else’s in the sport and they’re 16-5 at The Trop. Thoughts on the top team in the AL for @NBCSports:

@DougTuttle7 DK didn’t think so, they wouldn’t take a $100 bet.

@Book_Of_Chew Chew I love you man but that kinda looks like a dog threw up an espresso martini

@steaakfriend Is that in Interloken? I’ve been and it’s not great!
English

@NotTheeWillHill @MLBONFOX What was the best number you could find on that? I’ll be in a spot on Friday where I can bet awards.

Sad to hear of the passing of Hall of Fame manger Bobby Cox. I only played for Bobby for one year, but he left a lasting impression on my career. Always positive, loved by his players and coaching staff, he was exactly the type of man you wanted to lead a team through a grueling 162 game season. I cried in his office the day I was traded and had to say goodbye to him and the Braves. Thank you Bobby, and rest in peace 🙏🏻

@badpeatmoss What does the first coach fired market look like on him?

@EdKrassen @BriannaWu @krassenstein How do you like the Porsche? I have a Cayenne, but stare at the electric stuff every time I’m at the dealership.
English

For the record. I do NOT own a Tesla Cybertruck.
I own two foreign made vehicles. One electric. One gas.
I’m the better twin. I still love @krassenstein though.

@RealGadge @julianedlow Cash out on the +450 Knicks to win the East is 2.5x now. Is this just a hedge play?
English

@DougTuttle7 @julianedlow That being said. Without Embid it would still be Sixers or pass. I’m stuck +7 if I didn’t have a play already I would lean Philly +10.5 even after the injury news. Not an ideal situation

Brad Stevens end of season press conference notes:
- Team went 3-11 against top seeds in NBA and lost in first round. Says the team needs to get better
- Jaylen Brown has not expressed any "frustrations with the organization" to Stevens.
- Celtics margin for error needs to get bigger.
- Celtics over last 2 postseasons have had a really hard time generating a good first shot - this goes against Mazzulla who has said he is happy with the looks.
- Celtics need more of an impact at the rim, and need to add to the team to do that.
- Play style should be dependent on who's on your team.
- Would not commit to shooting too many 3s but says he looks at each shot individually.
- Pointed to Brown/Pritchard wide open 3s late in Game 7 as great shots, but admitted they certainly take some bad ones - went back to finding a way to generate more shots at the rim
- On making any big moves/overhaul: I don't take for granted how good we've been when we've been full.
- On losing so much at home & if it requires leadership change: I think that's a legitimate question. I don't think we should ignore it. Points to prosperity within the game and be more dialed in playing with big leads (acknowledged blown home leads 2023 MIA, 2025 NYK, 2026 PHI and the 2024 losses to MIA/CLE when they went on to win. We need to get better in those moments.
- On the coaching job: I know how hard that job is. Need to provide the resources and add to the team. Acknowledged a lot of growth to build off of.
- Do the Celtics shoot too many 3s? The bad ones, yeah. But I evaluate each and every shot. We have to do the best to generate the best possible look we can. Does not remember Mazzulla referencing 3pt attempt rate as the most important stat in basketball.
- On the gap between the Celtics and the top teams - believes the gap is relevant and plays into the honest assessment that needs to be made of the team.
- Calls Hugo Gonzalez a critical part of the team because his athleticism can meet the moment in big games.

What a Story, Dianna will be working at Barstool by September with no husband.

Dianna Russini’s husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, has demanded a DNA test for his kids Michael and Joey.
English

@julianedlow If they run if back with one additional big, while shooting 41 3's a game instead of 46 3's a game, you'll be looking at the exact same result. Time to make some big moves.
English

This won’t end well… they never do.
Either way, feel bad for the kids.
