Doesn’t get any better than this tribute. I remember when Maggie was one of a handful of fans during our first home series of the season my freshman year. She’s as important to the success of the program as Tim. They go hand in hand. Without them, all of us never get our opportunity to reach the pinnacle, both on and off the field. If you’re a recruit looking for the best experience you’ll ever have as a college baseball player and a collegiate student-athlete, take it from someone who’s first days on campus coincided with Tim & Maggie’s first days there as well. We knew after the first team meeting Tim had with all of us that things were going to be different. We knew he had every intention of changing the face of the program and expected that level of commitment from all of us players. We took immense pride in making those first 2-3 years the foundation of what you see today. Vanderbilt baseball is a destination unlike any other, anywhere in this country. You’ll be family forever and you’ll be wildly successful in life, whether your playing days in Nashville are the last you ever put on the uniform, or achieve the lifelong dream many of us did in reaching the big leagues. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of that fabric from the beginning, reveling in how much this program continues to grow. It starts at the top - with Tim & Maggie.
