Another embarrassment for MLS in the #Crew96-Revs game. A good game was derailed by an inability to VAR a penalty kick call because you don't have the right camera angles in an NFL stadium. The two replays shown looked like both players grabbed each other. No New England players appealed for the call, which is the ultimate sign that there was probably no offense. In an otherwised well-officiated game, this call stood out. I also hope MLS looks back at the scuffle. Why was that not reviewed? With that said, the Crew looked like a different team in the second half, and not in a good way. Everything they did so well to dominate the first half was not replicated. The Crew also had TOO many missed chances in the first half. This team has to capitalize on those chances, especially on the road. But MLS VAR continues to be in shambles. If you don't have the right cameras at every stadium, play without VAR. Finally, who was calling this game? Multiple names wrong, including players who aren't on either team. Yelling about plays that weren't exciting. This can't happen.
