@DoveRespecter I find bean curd to activate my gag reflex. The majority of my meat is game I harvest and process myself, or beef from a local farm no feedlot involved. We live in different worlds. It’s no more appropriate for me to insist you live by my rules than it is for you to do the same

Just say you like to eat meat and you're simply not willing to buy beans and tofu instead of animal flesh because you don't want to. It's so much less silly than whatever this is.

@IndustrialKevin I find eating bean curd more enjoyable than eating animal muscle. I know I couldn't shoot a cow or snap a chicken's neck, so I won't pay someone else to do it for me. It's a simple switch for me

@DoveRespecter Meat is infinitely more appealing and more nutritious than beans and tofu. The fact anyone tries to push a gelatinous mas of bean curd as something we should want to eat is beyond my understanding, it has no flavour and a disgusting texture.

The majority of crop use, which reduces the ranges of natural predators like wolves and mountain lions, is used to feed factory farmed animals. You could make the argument its necessary to monitor and cull diseased animals now to counteract that, but veganism is not the root of the issue.

When I was 8 my dad said "if you eat an animal you should be able to kill it" but bc he couldn't find a random sheep he made me watch a video of a sheep getting killed and then he was very surprised & angry when I didn't wanna eat meat anymore.. WHAT WAS THE PLAN HERE BROTHER

I was onboard with veganism until I learnt some vegan are white and some non-vegans are non-white. Furthermore, I have come to understand whale hunting is good, as some whales are white.

Yeah sure. I had Lyme for three years, was bed ridden, was told by all but one doctor i saw that yeah a more extensive test showed i had a strain of Lyme but our state only uses the western blot so no one would treat me. Almost caused me to go into cardiac arrest. But sure.
