We are thrilled to announce that Dquadrant has been entrusted with the critical task of conducting the Cardano Chang Hard Fork testing. This assignment underscores our commitment to ensuring the highest quality of work, building on our success with previous major hard fork tests. We extend our gratitude to Intersect and IOI for their continued trust, inspired by our track record and the detailed execution plan presented. Our mission is to verify that all required functionalities are in place and performing as expected, including those from earlier versions of Plutus. This extensive testing process includes: - Plutus V3 cost plan testing (new primitives introduced for Chang) - Plutus V3 regression testing (back to V1, covering CIPs and signatures, reference script uplifting) - Benchmarking V2 vs V3 (transaction size, memory requirements and performance) - Hardware and software wallet testing (governance actions, ensuring no disruption to existing wallet functionalities) - Cardano Ledger API testing - Load testing for governance actions (committee, DRep, voting, and delegation) - DReps, votes, and delegation testing (including negative scenarios) - DApp testing (simulating concurrent users) - Mass testing "delegate-to-abstain" - Guardrails testing - And much more ... Our second proposal for Project Catalyst Fund 11 is Autonomous Agent Testing. On basis of our experience with our test activities for IOG we can say that Cardano is lacking a good testing framework. We are aiming to solve this problem with our proposal for Autonomous Agent Testing.
