Looking to propose an SMH 2025 panel highlighting intersections between book history, military education, intellectual culture, and warfare (broadly conceived). I'm planning on delivering some thoughts concerning 19th century military encyclopedism. Anyone interested?

Really excited to be on my way to The Hague to work alongside Dutch colleagues on their history of Task Force Uruzgan. Collaborating on the history will help both nations better understand our shared experience of the war in Afghanistan.

I wrote a chapter on the electoral politics of soldiers and ex-servicemen after the two world wars in this book, edited by @d_thackeray and @RichardToye
