Last fall, Lucy snapped some images of the Moon as the spacecraft carried out its first Earth gravity assist. This week at #LPSC2023, Lucy scientist @DrAstroStu shows how the team is using these images to prepare for observing the unknown surfaces of the Trojan asteroids.

Already heard from several people who would not have come to #LPSC2023 if masks had not been required. Signs say they are, but half of people aren't wearing them, including your staff. Bad from @LPItoday ... very bad form. Bait-and-switch.
