A single judge just overrode the HHS Secretary, sidelined an advisory committee, and froze a presidential directive. That alone should concern everyone. And the result? • Mercury back in vaccines • Hep B for all newborns • COVID vaccines for babies back on the schedule MDs—celebrating this is a mistake. It’s shortsighted and won’t hold up. It will be overturned. You don’t have to agree with these policies to see this goes beyond a judge’s role. This kind of precedent cuts both ways. It’s not a stable system—it’s a race to the bottom.
