Yes, 2 years minimum breastfeeding / human milk feeding is recommended as optimum for human health. Immune and bioactive factors are especially important throughout the early years.

It doesn't save the NHS money in infant and maternal illness and mortality. The average person already sees thousands of bottle/formula feeding images before having their own child.

@ClementLeeMD I think it says a lot about your hospital system that someone has felt the need to write some of these requests out, and highlight them. That's my take. Unless you have gestated and birthed a baby, perhaps you won't understand how primal the urge to protect them is 🤷🏽‍♀️

Formula is expensive, and that consumer cost funds a $3BILLION marketing budget per year. They spend further more on lobbyists, sponsoring medical events and creating "helpful" breastfeeding resources for parents. Don't be fooled, they care about profits, not babies.@BFMedicine
