In 2025 we visited Downing Street with our public petition & our award-winning Formula for Change campaign. Our campaign asks were recommended by the CMA & adopted by the DHSC. Our advocacy continued with the screening the short film MILK to politicians and policy makers.

2025 culminated in creating the Six Pillars of Infant Feeding framework, defining a woman-centred policy approach. This marks the start of an infant feeding revolution, with Feed leading the way through evidence-based practice, advocacy, and amplifying women’s voices.

Our Advocate group shaped research & public messaging, ensuring outputs are fit for purpose. In 2025 our research programme flourished. Our most impactful publication, the Set up to Fail report, highlighted the urgent need for fundamental change in UK infant feeding policy.

Further products recalled. More info: food.gov.uk/news-alerts/al… The risk of harm is low, but consuming them could cause vomiting and diarrhoea. If your baby has recently drunk an affected batch and you are concerned about symptoms, contact your GP or call NHS111.

📢 We did it! 🍼 After a year of campaigning to make infant formula more affordable, the PM has confirmed the Government will act. Clearer guidance + allowing loyalty points & vouchers could save families up to £500. This is what our 107,000-strong petition fought for. @MetroUK @feedukorg @OfficialLadbaby

So proud to see @feedukorg on the front page of the @MetroUK on our win to end the ludicrous restriction on families using loyalty points and vouchers to purchase infant formula. Weirdly women don’t stop breastfeeding simply because they can use their clubcard for baby milk.

As well as giving families more options at the till, by bringing formula in line with other grocery items this move will also help smash the stigma around this vital food. Well done DHSC, keep up the momentum! #FormulaForChange

✅ We’re putting hundreds of pounds back into parents’ pockets by making lower-priced infant formula easier to choose. This will help tackle child poverty and give every child the best start in life. gov.uk/government/new…

Front page of the @MetroUK. A huge win for #FormulaForChange. Formuls should be affordable & accessible for all who need it, & they should be able to buy it with loyalty points, with vouchers, with dignity. We’re just getting started.

The CMA found that guilt & poor preparation for formula use have contributed to a distorted market that harms parents & issued recommendations to address it. The Government was due to respond in May and still hasn’t. Families need balanced info & support: feeduk.org/combifeeding
