Thanks for this, I am making a note for my Live on Tuesday. I think it would serve parents and athletes well to understand what that post is about since there seems to be some confusion about it being a preview for who's attending the camp, that absolutely is not what those posts are about.

Athletes: When a college coach posts a graphic and encourages you to attend their college camp, why are you posting your stats and highlight film in the comments? 🤔

@fbmom2027 I’ve heard that a few times in both the volleyball and basketball arenas. The idea was to give the coach a preview of who’s attending the camp.

That's awful! 🤯 Why on earth would they advise them to do that? It's not a post saying that they want to see their films so they can choose them for the camp. I've been in this recruiting realm for exactly a year today, I cannot believe the lack of information or even worse poor information given to parents and the recruits.😟

The NCAA should require anonymous end of season player evaluations, run through its site like the transfer portal, with results published by program. Rank development, communication, trust, experience. No compliance = recruiting limits, repeat issues = postseason ban.

Thank the Lord that not coaches are the same! There are still college coaches that will NOT cut players due to athletic performance. I’m sorry your son got involved with a transactional coach instead of a transformational coach. But there are still a lot of the latter out there

Nearly every coach in every recruiting conversation, when referring to their team, says “we are family” to get a player to commit Then later, their actions are different “it’s just business” they say Which is it? @ExpoRecruits I think the real issue is the misconception that European and U.S. basketball systems operate the same. The development process is completely different.

@DrLoloWms All unfortunate factors. The Euro pro situation is getting out of hand and has to be addressed. We cannot keep putting 17- and 18-year-old U.S. players at a disadvantage under any circumstance.

It’s time to be HONEST… It’s only getting harder for high school athletes to get recruited. This is 2026 recruiting.

@recruittool You’re assuming the player hasn’t done their homework on the school and program. Coaches have options, and players should too. Being hungry can also put you in the wrong hands.

What is the NCAA doing about D1 schools signing so many pro players from Europe? Our Universities are signing Pros from Europe and not our American high school athletes. Something is wrong with this picture.

@DrLoloWms My son plays college ball in Oregon, just amazes me how people can make things up that don’t even know us just to say they were part of the 25 offers he got

I’ve had people claim they got my son offers that I’ve never met, never talked too and the coaches don’t even know. Morale of the story is that the internet is full of people just talking to be talking. Don’t give it much energy, focus on the Lord and the work.
