@JoeGoodberry I may be a Louisville homer, but in game action this kid was always impressive to me. Curious if he is even on your radar for draft prep.

@TheOnlySweeney Depending on the rest of the roster, I’m not opposed to Wooley being a starter. I think he can be very dynamic without Conwell but the TOs have to be reined in.

For both Kentucky and Louisville… Are any of the guys that could realistically return next year a lock to be a starter? I’m talking guys like Wooley, Moreno, Mo, Jasper, Rooths? I’d say Chandler, for sure, but that’s it.

I wonder if a trade is in the works. They have multiple options now that can play centerfield, so maybe they could move TJ in a deal for another bullpen piece. They also could move him to free up a 40 man spot if they wanted. You can use Benson and Myers in centerfield. I noticed they have been using Marte in centerfield as well. Not sure if they think he can truly play there or if it is a chance to get the other guys submit at bats and possibly showcase them.

It’s one of two things Logan. Either they’re just stubborn on the price, which is entirely possible with the Brown family, or, there is a significant disconnect between what the personnel department sees in a player and what we is outsiders see in a player. And most of the time I think we’re right and they’re wrong

I’ll never understand why the Bengals don’t play in these markets for guys that make sense for them

The consensus right now seems like Woods is closer to a Round-2 pick than a Top-10 pick. Woods IMO is a fine prospect, but Top-10 needs to be a WOW prospect
